Versatile for Various Bed Bases
Designed predominantly for bedsteads, the versatility of the Vispring mattress allows it to be paired with any base, including Divan Bases and Ottoman beds. An additional layer of support fortifies its structure when used on slatted bedsteads. Notably, an enhanced density layer of wool bolsters the pocket springs within, ensuring optimum performance for a slatted base. It is crucial to note that this mattress, like all sprung mattresses, should not be placed on a base where slats are more than 7.5cm apart.
Customisable Firmness Levels
This mattress is available in three distinct firmness options: Soft, Medium, and Firm. Although Vispring offers general guidelines for the ideal user weight range (Soft up to 70kg, Medium up to 102kg, and Firm up to 127kg), the ultimate choice lies in personal preference. A Vispring mattress delivers unparalleled comfort and support, offering a luxurious experience that is softer compared to other premium brands. Despite the mattress's depth of only 26cm (with a sidewall depth of 21cm), the hand-applied fillings of British wool fleece and layers of fine cotton offer a soft, sumptuous, and luxurious feel. The Pocket Springs used in this mattress are crafted from 56mm diameter Vanadium steel, each housed within individual fabric pockets. Premium Finishing Touches
Encased in high-quality Belgian damask, the mattress features silky smooth exteriors. Rows of side-stitched borders provide additional side support, while breather vents on the sides facilitate heat and moisture management. This turnable mattress is equipped with side handles for ease of movement. We recommend turning and rotating the mattress every 12 weeks thereafter and fortnightly for the initial two months.
